About Great Outdoor Goods
Great Outdoor Goods is a family-run business with over 25 years of experience in architectural ironmongery and outdoor products.
Based near Market Harborough in Leicestershire, we specialise in distinctive weathervanes, mounting accessories and replacement parts for homes, gardens and outbuildings throughout the UK.
Our Story
We previously traded as Simply Weathervanes, building our reputation around an extensive collection of weathervanes and specialist product knowledge.
As the business expanded into new outdoor ranges, we became Great Outdoor Goods. The new name reflects our wider ambitions while keeping weathervanes firmly at the heart of what we do.
Something for Every Setting
From compact Mini Weathervanes for sheds and fence posts to handcrafted copper designs for homes and larger buildings, our collection offers a wide choice of sizes, materials and styles.
Our designs are inspired by wildlife, pets, country life, sport, aviation and the coast, helping customers find a weathervane that suits both the property and the person.
Knowledgeable, Personal Service
Our experience allows us to offer practical advice on choosing the right size, mounting bracket and replacement components.
As a family-run business, we believe in clear product information, dependable service and support that continues after an order has been placed.
Quality Outdoor Products
Our ranges include powder-coated steel, polished copper, verdigris-effect copper and stainless steel. We work with established manufacturers, including Good Directions, to offer products that combine distinctive design with materials suited to outdoor use.
We also stock mounting brackets, accessories and replacement parts, helping customers install, maintain and enjoy their weathervanes for years to come.
Delivery Across the UK
We deliver throughout the UK, with free standard delivery available to most UK mainland destinations on qualifying orders. Selected products can also be supplied internationally.
Whether you are adding a distinctive feature to your home, looking for an unusual gift or replacing a part, the Great Outdoor Goods team is here to help.
