Our Delivery and Returns policy
Christmas Last Order Dates
For all mainland postcodes orders will need to be with us by 10am on Monday 22nd December to guarantee delivery in time for Christmas.
For all Highlands and Islands postcodes order will need to be with us by 12noon on Thursday 18th December to guarantee delivery in time for Christmas
Normal order processing times
Our usual dispatch days are Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday (where possible)
We do have periodically busy dispatch periods such as the run up to Christmas, please allow up to five days for delivery
WE DO NOT DISPATCH ON TUESDAYS OR FRIDAYS EXCEPT ON THE RUNUP TO CHRISTMAS
We aim to send out all orders placed as soon as we can and where possible on a Next Day Delivery service's with either DPD LOCAL (all mainland UK Postcodes) or Royal Mail Tracked 24
Highlands, Islands and outside of the UK are excluded from Next Day Delivery Service, and typically take upto 5 days or more
Delivery Charges - Mainland postcode only
All items priced at £34.95 and above are carriage paid for mainland Postcodes
All items priced below £34.95 will incur a carriage charge of £6.95 added at checkout.
Orders for Mini Weathervanes priced at £29.95 will incur a delviery charge of £2.95 added at checkout.
Out Of Area Delivery Charges - Highlands, Islands etc
All Highlands, Islands, and Isle of Wight will incur an additional delivery charge will apply weight dependant
These charges will be added at checkout. Deliveries will also take longer to arrive, typically 2 to 3 days.

Delivery Method
Where possible we will use our preferred courier - DPD Local to make your delivery. DPD Local offer a emailing/text service to keep you informed of your delivery progress.
We also use Royal Mail/Parcelforce for delivery to areas such as Highlands of Scotland and Islands
Great Outdoor Goods is under no liability for any delay or failure incurred by the courier to deliver within estimated timescales. If you have not received your item within 5 working days of completion of your order, please notify us by telephone or email.
On receipt of delivery please ensure you sign for the correct number of parcels and that there are no signs of external damage. Should there be noticeable damage please refuse delivery and contact us immediately.
If the courier has attempted to deliver your item and has left a calling card, it is your responsibility to contact the courier directly. Should the courier be unable to effect delivery additional re delivery charges may be incurred.
Our Christmas Returns and Refunds policy
As it is the festive period, we have extended our returns policy to the 31st January 2020 to any goods purchased from the 1st November 2025 onwards.
If you are not happy with your purchase from our site, you may return the item by the 31st January 2026, as long as the goods returned are received in their original packaging and are in a re-saleable condition, you will be credited with a full refund.
Please include either the original sales invoice included with your order, or a piece of paper with full details of the order so we can easily identify your return.
We ask that the return carriage is to be met by the purchaser unless goods are proven to be faulty, in which case the cost of returns will be met by the company. This does not affect your statutory rights.

Our usual Returns and Refunds policy (Non Christmas)
If you are not happy with your purchase from our site, you may return the item within 30 days from the date of receipt of goods. As long as the goods returned are received in their original packaging and are in a re-saleable condition, you will be credited with a full refund. Please include either the original sales invoice included with your order, or a piece of paper with full details of the order so we can easily identify your return.
Return carriage to be met by the purchaser unless goods are proven to be faulty, in which case the cost of returns will be met by the company. This does not affect your statutory rights.
